Nugget Tin

This is our April project. It is a little tin filled with Hershey Nuggets that we covered with Summer Picnic designer paper. We also used the same paper to make a band around the outside of the tin. The Cherries on the punched out circle are embossed with a special mixture of embossing powder and sugar free cherry kool aid. This makes 'scratch and sniff' cherries - kind of cool. To mix your embossing powder for this technique use 1 tsp of kool aid (or jello) and mix with 1 1/2 tsp of clear embossing powder. Just make sure that what ever you mix in is sugar free or it will burn when you heat the embossing powder. Stamp set used is Tart and Tangy. Paper used is Summer Picnic designer paper, Bashful Blue, Real Red and Whisper White. Ink used is Old Olive and Real Red. Accessories used are punches and embossing powder and heat gun. I order the tins from http://www.specialtybottle.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=410&strVarSel=&strCompare=
